Together with The Frog Gallery, Philip Aguirre y Otegui presents the power of simplicity and beauty as a point of rest in a turbulent world. Known for his sculptures and paintings, Aguirre is this time exploring the medium of textiles. Inspired by his experiences in Senegal and created in collaboration with tailor Lamine Tounkara, these works place craftsmanship, colour, and connection at their core. With Interludium, Aguirre introduces a gentle, hopeful visual language that invites stillness, an energetic pause between what has been and what is yet to come, preceding his solo exhibition at the KMSKA in 2026
